Master Plank LVL has all the attributes that make it ideal for in-plant installation where time and materials costs must be carefully managed. The product is stronger, straighter and more reliable than sawn timber.
Master Plank LVL Ridge Beams install fast and can significantly reduce in-plant labor costs. They are significantly lighter, stronger and smaller in section than glued and stapled plywood beams. Available up to 48' long (60' on special order), Master Plank LVL Ridge Beams help produce a superior home.
Master Plank LVL beams and headers are free of the shrinkage, warping, crook or checking of sawn lumber. They allow stronger, longer clear spans that stay true because of a lower moisture content. The product can also be used in floor joist systems that stay stiffer and quieter over time.
Glulam is made of Norway Spruce, making it up to 20% lighter than Southern Yellow Pine Glulams for columns, beams and headers. Less weight means greater design flexibility and lower long-term costs.
